Fish Leather Objects
These Objects explore the tension between the two substances that share identical properties, the silver becomes flexible when heated and the leather hardens after tanning.
The objects live in different areas. On the body they are called jewelry and on a table they are called objects, so there is no place that they do not belong to.
Materials: 925 Silver, Self tanned fish leather.
Picnic on Mars – A Ritual of Memory and Human Connection
As part of the course “Picnic on Mars”, held during my second year of the Master’s program, we were asked to design an experience envisioning life on another planet.
My project presents a communal ritual, accompanied by a traditional garment and a brooch I created, meant to restore a sense of belonging and human connection in an alien world.
The ritual takes place on Mars and is dedicated to the memory of Earth, a planet no longer suitable for human life.
It serves as a bridge between past and future, between memory and identity, reinforcing unity and emotional closeness in a new reality of distance and isolation.
The brooch is crafted from a combination of silver, sand, gemstones, glass, and 21K gold, blending natural and precious materials into a singular symbolic object.
