Project Overview:
This complex system project delivers a comprehensive, real-time Dashboard tailored for the Shift Manager at the "Neve Galil Hotel."
The system is specifically designed to provide the manager with the crucial, high-level information needed to oversee all hotel operations effectively during their shift.
The User's Perspective:
The Shift Manager is the "Field Commander" responsible for the entire hotel's smooth operation during their hours. Their core mission is to identify and address real-time operational issues to ensure an optimal guest experience.
Role Focus: The Shift Manager operates primarily behind the scenes, acting as the "Conductor" of all departments. They do not typically interact with guests directly and are not the first point of contact for service requests.
Management Philosophy: They employ a macro-management approach, empowering department heads. They believe in giving each department manager the necessary operational space, trusting them to ensure all underlying responsibilities are executed to the highest standard. The system is designed to facilitate this trust by providing a clear, aggregated, and actionable overview of the entire hotel's health, rather than supporting micro-management.
System Function:
